Glass is a common building material, and its quality level can usually be divided into three levels: first, second and third.
The first grade glass is a quality grade glass with excellent transparency and uniform thickness. It has undergone a rigorous production process to ensure a high surface finish, no bubbles and defects, and has excellent physical and mechanical properties. Secondary glass is a medium quality grade choice. It is slightly inferior to first-class glass in terms of transparency and uniformity, but still has high quality and reliability. Grade 3 glass is an option for lower quality grades. It is generally inferior to primary and secondary glass in terms of transparency, thickness uniformity, and physical and mechanical properties. Grade III glass is mostly used for some temporary or less economical construction projects, such as site enclosure or temporary shading facilities.
